Dr Koh graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1985. He obtained his Master of Medicine (Internal Medicine) from the National University of Singapore, as well as Membership of the Royal College of Physicians, UK in 1991. He was admitted as a Fellow to the Academy of Medicine, Singapore in 1998 and the Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh in 2003. He trained as a clinical and research fellow at the Division of Endocrinology at the University of California, San Francisco, USA from 1996-1997. He was formerly a Senior Consultant at the Department of Endocrinology, Singapore General Hospital.
Dr Koh is a past President of the Endocrine & Metabolic Society of Singapore and the Osteoporosis Society of Singapore. He has held professional appointments as chairman of National guideline workgroups on osteoporosis and obesity, and member of National guideline workgroups on health screening and management of the aging male.
Dr Koh treats endocrine and metabolic disorders such as diabetes, thyroid disease, high cholesterol, osteoporosis, pituitary and adrenal disease, and other hormone problems.
